Been Tied Up

I've been a bit tied up lately and NOT in the fun ways!

I just feel bad leaving you guys hanging so I doodled up a silly little something to show what's going on in my life right now. :/
In better news my grandpa is doing a little bit better. He's still in ICU but he's conscious. I don't feel like discussing specifics but it's a pretty bad situation so we're just taking it day by day.

We're STILL househunting. It's fucking killing me. This is sincerely where ALL of my free time goes to, now. There's a place that's got us on the line but at this point I try not to get my hopes up anymore. Still.... fingers crossed.

And I've been working ALOT. I work 5-6 days a week in the dungeon, usually 10hr days and then a few weekends a month I work the conventions selling the tens units. Later this month I'll be in Vegas again.

So... once I have a place to rest my head (hopefully next to PrettyBoy's) then I'll get this thing back on track. Until then I make no promises about keeping a schedule but I'll try to get you a comic once in awhile.

Yay new comic!

Yay armpit hair!

Wish I had some way to see pictures of your furry underarms... oh wait I do cause I still have the pictures I commissioned! Woohoo!

Best of luck with all the stuff metaphorically tying you up

Hey, I hope things calm down for you soon!

I really like your comic, it's actually helped me realize that I like the BDSM scene, so thank you for that =)

Yay for consciousness. And trust me, house-hunting EATS ENTIRE DAYS, I've been there. You never think it's going to take as long as it does, but it does.

Glad to know that you are still alive. Also thanks to you the fact that my wifes hair got over bleached and melted then had to be cut down to about 3/8" wasn't overly upsetting for very long.

I'm glad to hear he is conscious. He remains in our thoughts and prayers. Take a deep breath and feel our loving support wash over you.

have you tried craigslist? I know it's cheesy, but I bought my place from an ad on craigslist.

Good to know you're still alive! I've missed you and this comic, but real life does tend to intrude on one's online life. Good Luck on the house hunt!

Best of luck, Real life must always come first, so don't think about the comic, is something you have to do for yourself and your own fun ;3

I'll wait for you right here! I even brough a chair and magazines...

XD I like how Pretty Boy is shackled to you. It looks like he's more getting pulled about with you rather than restraining you. I hate to psychoanalyze, but it looks like you really feel you can depend on him ^_^ It s a cute drawing!

Kara, that's actually what I was going for. :)
He doesn't actually hinder me or take up too much of my time. If anything, he's by my side while we're frantically trying to get our shit together. :) I don't want to go into the whole story but he saved my life when my car got impounded the other day at the phone system that I HAD to go through to free it couldn't understand me. He spent hours on the phone for me while I was in tears. I'd much rather have him at my side, he's not weighing me down. :)

Awe, that's so sweet of him! I hope Pretty Boy got a treat for that ^_^

If that's what you intended to depict with the picture, you hit the nail on the head ^_^ Mini Pretty Boy looks like he's trying to stare up your leg, but I'm sure he'd try to save you if he wasn't distracted by the view ^_^

Don't worry about it Nic, get your life sorted out or as sorted out as you can. We'll still be here when you come back to the comic.

Good luck.

I started working for as a PSO for a fetish line a few weeks back, and I had a client this morning that made me think of you, Nic. He spent two hours telling me about how he loved dropping heavy objects on women's feet. It was almost like something out of Criminal Minds by the time the call was over ^_^ I don't think either of us would let a man drop twenty pounds of weight on our feet in real life, but I had to stop and wonder if I was in one of your comics. I actually had to check and see if I'd been drawn up all cute ^_^

Sooo I am a new reader to your blog.. I have been reading for 2 days and am almost done w/2010. . . So your place of business sounds like some place I want to visit (0f course with the wife's blessing). . so my question is this: are you comfortable divulging WHERE you work? Maybe you have and I just haven't seen it?

Damn, I posted my last comment, then I got to the arson. . I heard about this, because I have a friend that used to work there . . . Just didn't realize that was your place.

Anyway, sure I will figure it out from your posts, but if you wanna post here how to connect I would love to hear it!

Hey Michael! Thanks for asking. :) When it was Passive Arts and John ran it he eventually gave me his blessing (okay, no, he asked me why the heck I wasn't advertising for him!!!) to post a banner linking to our site here. I did so with some nervousness because, while I don't go OUT OF MY WAY to hide my place of business I also want all clients and girls to feel safe in their anonymity.

Having said that, I know just knowing where the building is will not divulge their identity so with a small case of nerves I can say I work at the new Sanctuary Studios LAX. :)
