Poor PrettyBoy Is Poor

Sorry for the absence you guys. I been sick. D:
I worked HempCon unexpectedly last weekend and then fell ill immediately after so I didn't much feel like doing comics (or anything besides sleeping and whining alot.)

Thankfully PrettyBoy heckled, threatened and babied me enough to get me going again and I'm trying to play catch-up now.

We're house/catsitting this month and our two surrogate siamese children are evil little hellions who we've nick-named Boss-Chink (ala Deadwood) and The Screecher.
Okay, to be fair Boss-Chink is pretty fuckin' cool but as you may have gleaned via her name The Screecher is not our favorite...

So much for my plans to... ya know... sleep once in awhile.

Okay! Updates more soon. Oh yea, and this one is a word for word interaction I had with PrettyBoy. -_-

For the Win, Sorry you got sick though... we've had this BAD head cold thing here... been messing with my ears and crap too...

Hubby didn't realize that Body soap and shampoo are not the same thing till we got married... FURTHER more, he though conditioner was optional for long hair... *sighs*

Haha I used dishsoap when I had dreads. Why spend money where it's not needed?

Be thankful he uses dish soap. I use Lava bar soap. Of course my hair is usually just over 1/8th of an inch long, LOL. You worked HempCon and then got sick after. as Dash Parr's teacher would say, "A Coincidence? I Think Not!" Hope you feel better soon.

Oh, Pretty Boy.... Baking soda works better as shampoo. One tablespoon to a cup of water, applied directly to the scalp and then allowed to soak into the hair, and then rinsed = squeaky clean hair that stays clean longer, meaning you have to wash it less, meaning less scalp irritation. I speak from experience, having been using baking soda in water for over a year... My hair's healthier, my scalp's healthier, and I only have to wash my hair once a week, as it stays clean for that long, even when I'm working up a sweat in hot weather. I use apple cider vinegar in an identical mix of one tablespoon per cup of water, as a rinse after shampooing, and my hair is soft and shiny as a result. $5-7 and I have enough 'shampoo' and 'conditioner' to last a couple months, without putting nasty chemicals into the environment, or on my skin. Plus, apple cider vinegar smells good. :3

Aww, I'm sorry to hear you got sick after Hemp Con, but it was great meeting you there. I hope you're back to 9000 soon.

Oh, PrettyBoy, how you amuse me. I hope it was at least a nice smelling dishsoap. They have some out now that I wouldn't mind turning into body wash. XP

Oh the fun of near nudity! Nice art in this one. He may be poor but at least he's trying... I've known people who just opt to go without altogether and that's just... nasty.

Oh what I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in your bathroom. -cough- Just throwing that out there. ;D

Oh, (distracted, oops) I have to agree, at least he uses some form of soap/shampoo, but that's what the dollar store is for!

Also, I find it amusing how similar our hair is. Once I shave the sides of my head again for summer, I'll have a longer version of yours, and it's now the same color. :p

Ewwwwwwwwww. And yes, I DID need to say that. Because EWWWWWWWWWWW!

To clarify: The dish soap. Not the sexynakedshowertime-ness.
